Masquerade Ball - Totally not an ambush

[Ace gave Luffy a duckface as he turned and dipped--the booger smacking dab on the cheek of a poor unfortunate man left exposed in that gesture.]

[Crap! He wasn't defeated yet! snort He lined up another booger and then a second one just in case and flicked them both]

[Crap. That was tough. In haste, Ace pulled the young lady he was dancing with up and spun her at arm's length, keeping that second booger from hitting her as he leaned back to avoid the first one. He spun, pulled her back and caught her.

In the line of fire, the poor man who was hit with the first volley was just then noticing what on Earth happened. His date screamed as the first of Luffy's second volley went straight in her hair and forehead. She could just feel it. Her date, reaching over to try and get at it, was struck just under the eye with the last booger.

Ace choked.]

[covers his mouth to hide his laugh. It was tons more fun this way. He dug in his nose until he got enough for a fairly big booger and flicked it hard, aiming for the floor so it would bounce up]

[Ace cursed. He wasn't expecting rubber boogers. Luffy had evolved in a really, really dumb way! He ended up leaning back, grabbing his lady partner's ankle and lifting her up a bit to avoid the booger. It smacked with into the poor guy's face behind them, warranting a scream from him.

The lady he was danced with, affronted by being manhandled like a turkey, reared back and slapped Ace before storming off.]

[blinks at that and comes over to Ace]

Did you touch her butt? [or worse] Were you gonna try to taste her tongue?

[hiken]

[Ace was a second away from complaining about the woman until Luffy said something to him that was downright terrifying. Immediately, Ace set both hands on Luffy's shoulders.]

...Oi, Luffy. Never, ever do those things to a woman without asking. And, no, I didn't do that.

[allendsmeat]

Yeah I know. [he's not dumb.] What did you do? It must have been pretty bad!

[hiken]

Ahhh, I had to lift her leg a little to keep some idiot's booger from hitting her.

[allendsmeat]

Oh. [blink] Oi is someone else shooting boogers? [looks around. he really doesn't want to be hit by those things. That's so gross]

[hiken]

Hm? Yeah, he's right behind you. [Ace pointed.]

[allendsmeat]

[Turns around and see an old guy with a droopy walrus mustache]

Oi! Walrus Guy! Don't flick boogers at ladies unless you want to!

[DOOM!

The old guy stares in seeming shock, mustache twitching]

[hiken]

[Ace licked his finger as Luffy flew off the handle at that random old guy.

Then, he grabbed Luffy by the hair and shoved his wet finger in his ear.]

AHH! THAT'S GROSS!

[flails around and pulls away, trying to wipe his ear off on his shirt. It's so wet! Grrr]

GUM GUM NO NOSE PLUG! [two fingers shooting for your nose, Ace, what do?]

[hiken]

[Ace responded with a judo chop.]

Enough, Luffy! If you're not gonna act more noble like Sabo, then go to Namur's party! That one's a lot more fun than this one.

[allendsmeat]

I don't wanna act noble like Sabo. Anyway he woulda flicked boogers, too. [Sabo was the fun brother! He sighs a little] Why are you here if it's not fun?

[hiken]

Not if he had a plan! Sabo was the best with our plans.

[That was something he could easily admit. Ace was usually terrible with them, just like Luffy.]

Anyway, I'm here to get revenge. So, I gotta be patient.

[allendsmeat]

Oh okay. [he isn't happy with it, but, if that's what Ace wants to do...]

I'm gonna go get something to eat. [and try to stick a booger to Ace's arm without him noticing]

[Ace smacked Luffy's hand away.]
