Masquerade Ball - Totally not an ambush

Who: Anyone going to the Corsair Island Masquerade Ball!
Where: ...IDK?
When: April 26th - 27th (Early AM)
What: The Masquerade Ball + Ambush (12am)

There are going to be two main threads. One for the ball itself and the other for the Ambush! There will be an obligatory third thread for FASHION. Just remember to tag your muse in the subject header and OTA or 'Closed to ???' as you comment.

[as predicted, Luffy is pretty bored through this whole thing, waiting for the punching to happen. Though he might dance once or twice, you can find him cleaning out the buffet in front of agonized kitchen staff, sleeping in random places, or hiding somewhere and flicking boogers at people.]

[After waving bye to another naval officer, she walked backwards and without knowing what was going on, she slipped on a sleeping idiot. Who falls asleep a ballroom floor?!

Stepping up and dusting herself off, she decides to poke Luffy's side with her foot.]

You-- hey! Wake up!

Mnn? [sits up, rubbing his eye] issit morning already?

"Morning", no.

[pokepokejab, push.] You're still at the ball, bonehead.

Oh. [frowns but doesn't really feel the pokes and jabs too much. Instead rubs his eyes and stares at the ball] Should I really be awake? [idly scratches his butt]

With all these people around?! 'Course you should be awake! You're a hazard!

So what? [picks his nose] Oh you're that girl from that night, huh.

So what?! Don't you care about-- [Wait. That night? What is he-- oh.]

Oh. Oh! You're that guy with the bad dreams, right?

Yeah! But I haven't had one in a while. [grins] I'm Luffy.

...Bonnie. Obviously not. Your dreams must be great if you're falling asleep in a place like this.

It's pretty boring. I don't even wanna flick snot at people anymore. [plus his nose is pretty dry so] What are you doing?

[Fuu hadn't been paying much attention, almost falling over some poor sleeping man. Kneeling down she felt like she should at least apologize and to check that he was okay at least.]

Excuse me?

[snorts and rolls over onto her feet. May also drool on them a little]

[Well she was kind of glad at this point that they were rather cheap shoes. Moving her hands over she started to lightly shake him.]

This isn't the best place to fall asleep, sir.

[blinks awake and yawns, stretching his arms over his head and then scratching his hair] Is it morning yet?

[She shakes her head slightly.]

No, it's still the ball, but why are you asleep in the middle of it?

[The more important would be how could he sleep during it, that was the question.]

It's pretty boring. [he stretches and then stands up, adjusting his mask] There should be more bonfires. [what kind of party was this?]

[She pauses for a moment, he was probably thinking of a different types of party.]

Considering this is a ball, its a very different type than say a festival.

[Believe it or not, Draco's here for the food, too. Well, and for the excuse to dress up. And maybe even the dancing -- if he can find anyone tolerable enough to spin around the dance floor.

But after sailing for months on end without any house elves to take care of the cooking, he's craving some of this fancier stuff. Much better than what he's had to grow accustomed to over the past half a year.

Despite the many odd things he's seen as of late, however, Luffy still somehow brings an extra level of madness to the game.

Draco pauses halfway down the buffet, full plate in hand, and just stares a bit.]

...Have you somehow managed to magic yourself a second stomach?

No I don't think so. [hey look! More chicken fingers! fwip! Now they're all gone.]

Na, did you find any more of those. [fwip. There goes your crepe, too. And your carrots but he gives those back]

[It takes a second for him to even realize that it's his own food Luffy is suddenly swiping.]

Wha— Excuse you.

[A second later he's got his wand in hand and is flicking at Luffy.]

Accio crepe!

[Before it quite makes it to Luffy's mouth. It comes zooming back to his place...not that Draco wants it now, but. It's the principle of the thing!

He grimaces down at it anyway.]

Oh, bloody hell. You can't just steal other people's food, you git! Keep your sticky fingers to yourself!

Oi! [no one had ever stolen food like that from him before! In either case that was his!]

I gave you back your carrots!

[Jerk! And attempt two to steal back what he'd stolen.]

Right, sure, give me the vegetables while you take the sweets. I think not.

[Scowls and jerks his wand again, sending his plate up into the air and levitating it out of reach -- or so he assumes.]

Eh? EHH? That's so cool! [reaches up to see if he can hang off of said plate] How did you do that?

[PREENS.]

Oh, it's a simple bit of...magic......really.

[Stares. STARES. All like O.O with his jaw dropping a little.]
