"Elissa!" She said happily making her way over before she noticed the sash. "Uh... why are you wearing that?" She asked looking a little puzzled at the others actions.

As she spoke, Elissa ducked a punch thrown by a female officer and returned it with a vicious elbow to the woman's middle.
no subject
"Why did you want to gamble in the first place? I don't see much of a point."
no subject
"I was confident that I would win," she admits, grunting when the Navy woman's next punch lands. For her troubles, the woman receives a swift, unsportsmanlike kick from Elissa. "Had I done so, Ban would have actually had to do his work! It was worth the risk!"
no subject
She jump over a couple of soldiers landing on her hands as she proceed to kick them out of the way. Sure she didn't like her innocence for some rather obvious reasons, but they did some in handy when it came to helping those she cared about.
"We should try and get out of here."
no subject
The last punch had all of Elissa's weight behind it. Her opponent flew backwards to land atop one of the small tables, knocking over glasses and flowers. The Naval officer went still atop the table - just before it collapsed beneath her.
"Finally," breathed the Warden.

"Nothing that is clear, too much is going on at once. But We can always make a way clear." She said as she landed hard on the ground, causing a small dent to form on the floor. Maybe she had put too much into that jump. Oh well.
"I think the best route will be this way. it seems like there are less fights" She pointed towards the direction she was getting at.
no subject
"Maker!" Elissa exclaimed as she backpedaled. A few shots rang out from Navy rifles and pistols, but they seemed to be flying to another part of the room. "We may have to head upstairs and use a balcony!"
no subject
She glanced around, there was so much going on now that it was getting much harder to fully focus on searching and making sure one doesn't get attacked again. "I think there over that way, but I cant be sure with all the commotion."
no subject
She was already regretting slipping out of her underskirt. Had she left it on, it would be much easier to pretend to be an innocent damsel in distress.
"There! I think I see it," she exclaimed, but when Elissa turned to look at Lenalee, she spied the two Navy riflemen approaching with bayonets held in a threatening manner. "Behind you!"
no subject
"It was fun while it lasted, but maybe fighting our way out is suppose to be a thing. Not fun, but still."
no subject
Elissa was doing her best to follow her own advice, grabbing up a sword from a fallen party-goer to use in conjunction with her dagger. The stairs were visible ahead now that the flames across the room were growing higher and casting more light.
Block, parry, thrust, slash - the new sword was put to good use despite it not being very sharp since it seemed to be little more than a dress uniform piece. Still, it was just as useful for blocking blows from more of the riflemen's bayonets as they came quick-stepping down the stairwell.
no subject
She soon stopped and landed just near the end, they were blocking the stairwell now and well she could probably use this change to use an attack now the number of people has lessoned in this area.
"Elissa, please keep behind me otherwise I can't say you won't get blown away." With a jump she got herself ready.
"Waltz: Mist Wind" She said kicking towards them and sending a tornado gust of wind at them, sending them spinning and flying away, up on top on a chandelier, through a nearby window among other places. "Okay, lets keep going."
no subject
With the stairwell ahead, Elissa lightly ran up the stairs despite the growing discomfort of her fancy, heeled shoes. Oh, how she longed for her Warden boots! Fire crackled along the entire building, creating smoke that obscured some of the upper level in billowing clouds.
"Do not open a door, if tis hot to the touch!" For just a moment, the noise, smoke, and the danger threw her into an earlier time and she thought she was back at Castle Cousland during that terrible night.
no subject
"Okay, so we can't touch it, so what shall we do?"
no subject
With a grimace, she looked back at Lenalee and then gestured to the doors at the end of the corridor that led to the upper terrace. "Outside, it seems - with hope there are none with rifles on the ground."
no subject
Lenalee quickly moved towards the door, going to kick it down should it need it. Once that way practically out of the way, she knew what to do next.
"Let's keeping going, I think we're nearly outside at least. All that we'll probably have to do next is find a way down."
no subject
Unfortunately, the cadence of feet running in formation could be heard coming from that direction. To the right? Flickering flames. Elissa ran forward to look over the edge of the railing. "It isn't that far down, I suppose..."
Below them sounded a scream and then a few shots. Partygoers were fleeing the building and running toward the waterfront. One man was assisting an elderly gentleman with a limp while calling out, "Sean! Jamie!" Jonas stopped his searching long enough to hand the man over to a pair of Navy men who helped him onward.
no subject
"Okay, shall we jump at the count of three?" She asked as she once more kept her eyes open for any possible distraction or navy.
no subject
"Yes. Will you do the counting?" she asked Lenalee. The other girl would surely have no difficulty with this what with the way she leaped and kicked when fighting.
no subject
"Okay. On three, we jump." She said turning around, legs at the ready to run towards the railing.
"One. Two. Three," Once she counted three she moved, running towards the railing smoothly as she jumped up and off, twirling in the air as she went. Once she knew she was close to the ground as flipped landing feet first and causing the ground below to crack slightly.
"Come on Elissa. You can do it."
no subject
Pain! Embarrassingly enough, her right butt cheek hurt even more than her ankle as she flailed around and tried to get back on her feet.
Across the way, the thin, bespectacled man who had been assisting others was watching both Elissa and Lenalee with a mix of awe and exasperation. He began making haste toward the two women.
no subject
So looking around she was hoping that there was someone that could help and soon came across the man.
"Can you please help us? My friend might have hurt her ankle and I can't carry her alone."
no subject
"Oh! I-I... Terribly sorry. I am a physician. My name is Jonas Hackett," he said by way of introducing himself to Lenalee while he adjusted his spectacles atop his nose and crouched down by Elissa. "Let's get you both away from here, shall we?"
