Masquerade Ball - Totally not an ambush

... Maybe it's just that naivety, but I can't see how this is a compromise. Futo, please... I can't truly be at peace until I know what we are to one another.

[She gave Tojiko a soft smile, it seamed finally she had gotten through to her. What there was currently was not a lie, what was the past was the past, though not gone, not on going. They were what they were, an accumulation of all their experiences and actions.]

If we have been able to resolve this trial, do I not owe you a dance?

[She thought it sounded really good to say that, but then, she also realized she had no idea how to dance in the first place....]

[She hesitated a moment, and had to bite back her typical response of not wanting to allow that, and simply noded.]

-The dance was... awkward, to say the least. Tojiko's legs were still relatively fresh, and even then, she was only marginally more familiar with western style dances than Futo. But... she didn't care how awkward it looked. Most of the time, she rested her head against Futo's shoulder... and not once did she stop smiling.-
