Masquerade Ball - Totally not an ambush

*Selphie laughs at the twirl, beaming when she comes back to him, without bumping into him too much. There's just too much enjoyment for Selphie in all of this*

Careful, Aya, you're getting adventurous!

I can stop whenever you'd like. [Aya grins and returns them to their dance.]

No, that's okay! I'm -

*She smiles a little bashfully, feeling silly for saying it but it was true*

I'm happy.

[Aya ducks his head a bit, hued from Selphie's statement. Obviously he has no issue with her being so.]

I'm glad. [His smile matches hers. Her statement was simple, but it took pressure from his shoulders for not having to worry if she was enjoying his company or not.]

And so you should be, cause it's your fault.

*Who cares if they were at a fancy ball? Selphie sticks her tongue out at him anyway, then laughs as she looks around to see if anyone has noticed. Mostly, though, the other couples are just doing their own thing*

[Aya chuckles softly.]

And how may I make it up to you, miss?

*Selphie snuggles that little bit closer to Aya, glancing up at him shyly*

I dunno... How would you like to make it up to me?

[This could be a trick question. Well, he knows what she likes, so that's a start.]

With chocolate.

*She sees that expression and giggles, then smiles slowly*

That's a pretty good start!

[Somehow, he isn't surprised, and Aya just gives Selphie a wry smile as they continue dancing.]

*She just smiles back up at him, happy to continue dancing with him until he is bored of dancing. She won't bring it up, though, and will just wait and see how much he enjoys the dancing*
