"I shall do my best to pay attention to the time," Elissa agreed in an undertone with a little frown. "It seems that it was prudent to strap a blade to my thigh this evening." Surely Haytham had already left the party after that incident with Commander Clayworth. Or had he? Dammit!

By now, she was more sure in her steps and looked less like a novice as they moved across the floor.

"Aye, very wise," Marco's eyes danced in amusement. So far as he was concerned, this was another battlefield and he was having fun with it. "If you need help, find the girl with the nunchucks at least half an hour before then, yoi."

The lady laughed again as she gifted her partner with a wry look. "That is helpful advice - if one knows the meaning of nonchunks," Elissa chuckled as she stalked a few steps forward at Marco's lead.

"I should be fine. Even in this hat, I can be quite stealthy, if I wish to be."
