Masquerade Ball - Totally not an ambush

"Wow, a famous admiral? That's pretty cool!" Selphie did, though, come from a life of military ranks. "But now.. isn't Ace..well, isn't that a bit different from the kinda thing he does now?" She was careful to keep it vague, just in case anyone overheard. Selphie laughed though as she continued to dance, "If it wasn't for Ace and food I wouldn't be a - wouldn't have known you guys." She grinned as she remembered meeting Ace on the day he arrived, and sharing from a huge pile of chicken he had.

More grins, "Of course. Ace is a very stubborn guy, eh. He'll always do things his own way, no matter how ridiculous it is. Someday remind me to tell you the story of how he and I first met. And how he met Thatch."

A slight head tilt however, "What does food have to do with it?"

"It's not stubborn, it's just determination!" Selphie grinned and winked at him, because that was her response when people called her stubborn, which they often did.

"You said appetite, right? Or did you not mean food?"
