PIRATES vs. NAVY BATTLE LOG

December 9th finds some new arrivals to this world, the same curious phenomenon that's been occurring for the past few months.

This time, however, the Navy is prepared -- or so they think.

They've got troops stationed around the island, and ships on the water to stop any arrogant, foolhardy pirates and would-be sailors from trying to make port.

So hit them with all you've got, but they're not going down easily...

I've been a criminal most of my life. It doesn't pay to follow the law when the law is corrupt. I'm planning on starting my own pirate crew. Want to join?

[He pauses to cut down a few more Navy officers. You'd think they would've learned to leave these two alone, but they just keep coming.]

I wanna form the biggest most badass crew around. Thought it'd be good to start with a strong guy like you.

[His words were cut off as a cannonball the size of a bean-bag chair slammed into his body, drawing a surprised yelp from him as he was forced backward, struggling against the inertia as his clawed feet dragged backward over the ground. When he finally slowed to a stop, he let out an angry roar and lifted it over his head.]

You motherless fish-sacks! I'll show you!

[His muscles coiled tightly before releasing, launching the large ball of iron straight back and sinking it into the hull of one ship.]

They're bringin' out bigger guns and more ships are on the way. It's time to book!

[Dave doesn't know what to be more impressed with, the fact that his new crewmate can smell gunpowder from that far away, or how quickly he recovers from being hit by a cannonball. Both are pretty impressive.]

I think you're right.

[He could probably keep fighting because he can dodge those things easily but his companion is not as agile and he makes an easy target. It's better if they retreat for now.]

Let's escape to the side. I don't think they'll fire on the buildings and even if they do they'll be less likely to hit us.

[Dave starts slashing through people. It won't be easy to get out of this mess, but escaping to the side should be easier than trying to plow through the center. Dave cuts down everyone directly in his path, leaving a few stragglers for his new friend to take care of.]

[When all the Navy guys are out of the way he leans against one of the buildings.]

[He isn't even remotely serious about that. You can call him whatever you want.]
