[When he finally makes his way back, Lea is crouched down in the shallows, poking at the sand and seeing what he can scare up. It's been ages and ages since he's been to the beach, but he hasn't forgotten how to be a menace to sea life everywhere.]
Crabs, probably. Some little fish, but those are hard to catch. If you wanna go looking for tidal pools, we might be able to turn up some starfish or sea urchins or something.
[Lea watches Roxas to see if he'll turn up anything.]
[Roxas reaches for the seashells. He isn't sure why, but apart from his collection he's left with a lingering peaceful feeling. However he got them, it was really nice. That much he could tell.]
[The shells are destined for his pocket and he nods a bit, putting a finger to his lips. Roxas can be quiet and not move around much. He peers into the clear water curiously.]
[Lea wades slowly through the water, shielding his eyes from from the sun with one hand and trying to see what he can scare up. He ends up having to go a little deeper in, almost up past his knees, but he manages to find a small school of colorful fish. He waves a hand to call Roxas over, careful not to make too much of a sound and scare them off.]
There're your fish. They bite, though, just saying.
[Not that it really hurts much unless the fish is big, which these aren't. He can tolerate a few nips on his shins if it means watching fish for a while.]
Nah, we don't eat this kind. You might be able to catch one if you're real quick with the bucket, but I dunno. It's easier to get a rod and fish for bigger ones.
[They could probably catch some pretty interesting things here. Like, not the sort of nature documentary-level weird things they pull up in the nets on the ship sometimes, but something he could cook, at least.]

So you got your beach. What do you think?
no subject
It's pretty cool Lea, you were right! What should we do here?
no subject
[Lea plants his hands on his hips and kicks at the sand a little, watching the water cloud up.]
Find any critters yet? Crabs or fish or sand fleas? You should get a bucket and put 'em in it.
no subject
[Finding crabs and fish can't be too hard though, right?
In the spirit of fun, Lea won't mind him splashing him in the face.]
no subject
Of course we do! Lucky you playing around on that skateboard every day while the rest of us work our asses off.
[Buckets for swabbing the deck, buckets for fishing for food, buckets for everything...]
no subject
Hey!
[He splashes again, jerk.]
I do all kinds of work!
no subject
[This is, possibly, the only way they're going to get a bucket without him going to find one himself.]
no subject
[Oh Roxas. Rising to the bait so easily.]
no subject
[Lea crosses his arms and frowns skeptically. Of course, it's totally faked, but Roxas doesn't have to know that.]
no subject
[Naturally Roxas is going to prove he can do it, so he head back to the ship. It isn't going to be that hard to find a bucket after all.]

no subject
See? I found a bucket, no problem!
[He grins brightly and crouches down to look at what he's doing.]
Did you get anything? What do you do?
no subject
[He pushes one hand into the sand and feels around until he hits something with a smooth back and way too many scrabbly little legs.]
Gotcha! See?
[He holds up the sand flea for Roxas to see. It's a big one, so he's rather pleased with himself over it.]
no subject
That's pretty cool! What else can we find?
[Roxas pokes his fingers into the sand, digging around carefully to see what he can find.]
no subject
[Lea watches Roxas to see if he'll turn up anything.]
Just look out for jellyfish.
no subject
[Doesn't sound like something he wants to mess with. Roxas gets ahold of something and he pulls it out revealing - a stick!
He stares at it.]
Well this is useless.
[He chucks it over his shoulder into the water.]
no subject
[Lea fishes around and pulls up some empty seashells. They'd have to go out deeper to find anything inhabited, probably.]
no subject
[Roxas reaches for the seashells. He isn't sure why, but apart from his collection he's left with a lingering peaceful feeling. However he got them, it was really nice. That much he could tell.]
Let's find a fish!
no subject
Alright. Well, first you gotta stop splashing around and stirring everything up or you'll scare 'em off. Gotta sneak up on them.
[He plants his hands on his hips and looks up and down the shoreline. Shouldn't be too difficult to find something.]

He wades in quietly behind him, peering around him into the water at the fish. It's pretty cool, actually.]
