Because the bold captain of the Maharajan has serious common sense and self-preservation issues (if you ask the first mate's opinion), he's decided that the Templar-controlled island of Blackfisk would be a great place to check out. The rest of the crew, all two of them, are a little dubious about the prospect, but it's very difficult to say no to the future King of the Seven Seas.

Now that they've won the Great Ghost Race and somehow managed to get out of Port Chance despite their stalwart captain being completely drunk off his ass, the brave crew of the Katabami decide it's time to go visit a giant turtle and hope Motochika is too hungover to consider buying himself a miniature bubble-farting whale.

What: Food, Fun, and preparation for the Great Ghost Race.

Racing or not, there is much to do and see on the days coming up to the Great Ghost Race. Port Chance is in full festival mode with food, dancing, games of luck and skill, and fireworks every evening. There are figures of Davy Jones everywhere, from statuettes to cloth dolls to painted signs, as if the residents are trying to ward off bad luck. Otherwise there is an air of festive mood, so come and mingle! Enjoy the sights and sounds! Gawk at the wide reverse waterfall as it goes up the mountain, or the more regular waterfall that goes down the other side.

Where: Near the fountain in the town center.

What: You've just been dropped on your head in a weird new world. Time to figure out what the heck is going on!

It's a muggy June day when you wake up and locals seem more irritable than usual. There also seems to be a low supply of meat on the island and you may hear something about a boar shortage. Nevertheless, you'll find a friendly local or two if you flash a bit of doubloon. Also, it's best to stay in at night. It seems a pack of somewhat rabid dogs has begun to skulk in the back alleys, and they aren't too fond of strangers.

Feel free to throw your characters here if you need a place for them to get situated and start figuring things out! Start new threads, tag into others, meet the people who might just become part of your crew! Older characters will be in and out, too, depending who is on the island at the current time.
