With the nightmares finally subsided, the Spades weigh anchor at the next island. Thankfully, the entire thing is full of water parks! Your generous Commanders will find a way to work out a deal with one of the medium sized parks on the waterfront for an extended stay pass- discounted, of course, since they'll be buying in bulk, but if you want to go to the other ones you'll do it on your own coin- or have to sneak in. Make sure to read the island description, there's a TON of things to do here! Catchalls, dated threads, etc, whatever. Just jump in, have fun, and to hell with fiddly particulars. I have no idea how long we'll be here.

A] The Beach

After such distressing times as she's had lately, Selphie has taken herself to the beach. During daylight hours she can be found stretched out on a towel on the sand, often with some lemonade and snacks. She's got a paperback book with her too. Mostly, though, she'll be lying on her back or her stomach, catching the sun in her red and white polka dot bikini.
In the evening, she is marginally more covered up in a sheer dress as she goes in search of a nice beach bar for a stronger drink.

B] Aquariam
Selphie can spend hours in the aquariam - there's a lot to see. She's either gazing in wonder at the various sea creatures, or waiting anxiously for her turn to hold or feed this or that crab, fish, or otter.

C] Water Park
You might catch Selphie heading towards one of the water parks for the day, ready for a day of fun and throwing herself down flumes and river rapids. Care to join her?

D] Onsen Sanctuary
While Selphie uhms and ahhs about spending money on some of the more expensive treatments, she soaks and relaxes in one of the hot springs, eyes closed, allowing herself to sink into dizzy daydreams. She just has to watch that she doesn't fall asleep like she did last time in one of these things.

Haruta was at the hot spring, waiting her turn for a massage and mud bath. She hears they’re pretty fantastic here. but first a bath to clean and open pores and relax and all that great stuff. So the tomboy is in the girls hot spring, slinking into the water and grinning as she saw Selphie zoning out over there. She tucked a towel on the top of her head and sank down on a stone seat beside Selphie. “Don’t fall asleep. Drowning in a hot spring has to be a bad way to go.”

Selphie's body gave a small start when she heard someone beside her. Her eyes darted wide open, but when she saw Haruta she smiled and closed her eyes again. Selphie took a long, deep breath, smiling in a dazed kind of way. "Hmm... but it's probably not the worst way..."

She chuckles softly as she sank in better, shoulders under and sighing. "Not the worst, no. And you'll go as relaxed as ever." She had to admit.

"Just here to relax, or are you waiting to be called in for something else?" Like her, waiting for a massage.

Selphie opens an eye every now and then to glance at Haruta as she talks to her, but mostly seems content to talk with her eyes closed. When she answers the question, though, she glances towards the area where people were going for massages etc. "Hmm, just relaxing. Everything here is pretty expensive."

She lets her own eyes sink closed and just relaxes here for now. "It is a bit pricey. But how often do you get to have a full massage and a mud bath? Besides, i hear the mud here has a healing effect. To help one feel more refreshed. If that doesn't sound appealing, I don't know what does.

Come with me? I'll buy. I was going to drag Namur in but I don't think he's like it anyhow.

Selphie opened her eyes at the mention of a full massage and a mud bath. It certainly did sound amazing. "Hmm... You're right. It sounds awesome." But she shook her head, even if she couldn't see it. "You don't have to pay! But sure - I'd be happy to join in, if you're sure Namur won't like it..."

[at some point he'll come up behind her, drink in his hand as he intends to get thoroughly blasted while he's here. Though slowly. Methodically. It's a drunken state he is fermenting with coconut wine, schnapps and not too bad rum]

My darling Selphie. [would put an arm around her shoulders but since she's so short just sort of dangles a hand over one] Find anything delicious?

*Selphie turns suddenly at the sound of Thatch's voice, smiling up at him and his way of greeting. But then she sees the glass in his hand and her eyes widen, glancing this way and that as though she's scared he'll get into trouble*

Thatch! Are you supposed to be drinking that in here?

[thatched]

I'm a pirate, love. [he sips it and raises his eyebrows at her] This is in my job description.

[he playfully tugs on her hair] Having fun, Princess?

[booyaka_boom]

Yes, you are! *Selphie smiles at that then goes onto tiptoes to peer into his glass* Hmm. It smells good. Maybe I should get one too so that I can be a pirate too!

*She giggles at him playing with her hair, then turns and points at some brightly coloured seahorses*

Yeah - look!

[thatched]

[he does so.] Not bad. I could see them barbecued. [and then before she can hit him, distracts her with the glass] Care for a sip? [it might be a little strong for a first timer but Thatch isn't worried]

Barbecued?! *And really, she is about to whirl round and give him a piece of her mind but then - Oh! A drink!*

*Selphie takes the glass from him and inspects the drink for a moment, under no illusions that this will be any kind of soft drink, then she takes a gulp. It sure is strong, as shown by the face she makes when she squeezes her eyes tight shut*

[Ace watched Selphie run up the steps to the slides, go down them and run back up them ten times before saying a thing. He seemed a bit bitter about his own inability to participate in the festivities--]

Tcch. Is it that fun?

*Selphie bounced (yes, bouncing in a bikini, but she's having a really good time) over to Ace with a happy grin, then gestured towards the slides*

It is! Wanna try them with me?

[At some point in the early afternoon, Namur makes his way out of the waves and flops down with his arm over Selphie, then proceeds to almost go to sleep.]

*Selphie was lying happily on her back, eyes closed behind some large shades. That was when she felt something damp and heavy suddenly fall across her chest. Immediately, Selphie sat up, trying to push whatever it was off her while she gave a shriek of fright*

[It's enough to snap him out of his sleepy content state, not just his head but his whole body leaping up to face whatever danger made his sister scream.]

[But he doesn't sense anything out of the ordinary. After tasting the air again just to make sure, he furrows his brow and looks down at Selphie quizzically.]

The hell y' screamin' 'bout?

*Selphie struggles a moment more to get the shades on top of her head, then she notices Namur with wide eyes, which instantly become narrowed*

Namu-ur!

*His name clearly said like a reprimand as she grabs his arm and starts tugging it and pulling it, clearly taken offence by it as if it was a creature of its own*

I thought there was a fish on my boobs! Or something! What are trying to sleep on me?!

*And she can't help it if she goes a little bit red at that, and not just because of the sun*

Oh. Damn. Jus' thought... Cuz yer my sister, y' know? Wasn't grabbin' or nothin'...

[He sits heavily in the sand, finally bothering to brush off the grains stuck to his front.]

[Is there any way he can explain himself? Probably not without making it worse. Best leave it at that.]</small.

Leanne has never been to an hot spring before and decided to follow after Selphie, desiring the other girl's company. Within the spring itself, she moves to the opposite side that Selphie is on in order to spread her wings in the marvelous water to let it sound every inch of her.

"So good......"

Selphie smiled brightly over at Leanne, happy to see her friend being able to really relax. It was always nice to see her wings spread out like that too.

She laughed quietly and nodded her agreement, "Mmhmm... You're telling me. I think we need a hot spring on the boat!"

Leanne giggles as she stays on her side, not wanting to crowd Selphie with her wings. This is probably one of the few times where she doesn't mind if someone comes and plays with them.

"But we would have to share it with everybody."

It is very tempting to want to touch Leanne's wings, and she does keep staring at them, but she's pretty sure that it's rude to ask.

"Nah! It could be a secret!"

She wouldn't mind if Selphie wanted to touch her wings at the moment. The water felt good and relaxing. She giggles and nods.

"I like that.... It will be our secret."
