Have fun! I'm gonna put up threads for the food'n'fight group and shard findin' group. We do have a map which Robin possesses. You can drop in on either or stay on the ship and guard it or just have fun on Malihini! You know, whatever. :)

more Zoro! 25th-26th

[Thanks to the quick and skilled care from his crewmates, Zoro is going to be just fine. He might have a few more surface scars for a while, but for now, he'll just be ruing his drinking games with the natives.

He's asleep entirely until sometime late on the 25th, likely in whatever passes for the infirmary, but after that he's open to receive visitors. If he looks asleep, just poke him. He might not be. He has a lot to think about, and the bandages wrapping his right shoulder hide a wound that turned out deeper and more painful than expected.

Stupid damn cannibals.]

[Just happens to be in the room when Zoro finally wakes up, which really is mostly just bad timing on his part, he hasn't been camped out in the infirmary or anything stupid like that.

...At least not camped out much.

He just checked in on Zoro after breakfast. And lunch. And now with dinner out of the way and nighttime falling, he doesn't have much else to do.

SO HERE HE IS.

Sitting on a chair nearby and idly flipping through his journal. He'll leave in a minute, as soon as he catches up on all the latest entries. Yep.]

[grunts a bit under his breath as he comes awake, and everything registers with him - he remembers what happened, even though half of it was hazy at the time, and wow does his shoulder ache. Nothing he can't handle, but damn.

Zoro turns his head to find someone with him, and is actually surprised by who it is.]

[Startles, jerking up in his seat and nearly losing his grip on his journal and he looks wildly over at the bed.]

Zoro!

[Buuut he shuts down all that excess reaction pretty quickly, settling back down and letting a calm, neutral expression slip over his face even as he gives Zoro a scrutinizing look.]

Oi, you're finally awake, marimo?

[He feels the need to give a few more indistinct grunts and groans as an answer, as he shifts around and tests the limits of his movement. It's not so bad, after all, but he's tired.]

How long have I been out?

About a day. Little more than.

[Watches those movements carefully.]

[once he gets himself situated, propped up just a little more on his pillow, he reaches across to feel the bandages around him]

Good thing he's with us.

[Now his eyes narrow a bit.]

What with the fucking spearhead in your shitty shoulder and all.

What are you so pissed about? I'm the one who took the spear to the shoulder.

[and you don't hear him complaining. Yet.]

[Pointedly turns away and goes back to reading his journal -- or staring blankly at it, really.]

You wanna be an idiot and get yourself drugged and beaten up by a bunch random-ass nobodies, you go right ahead.

25th

[comes in to sit beside him since he's been in the infirmary a lot, too. Even sleeping in the other bed sometimes though he knows Zoro's going to be alright. Right now he's drawing pictures on a barrel of sake that he was going to give to Zoro when he got better to make him strong]

[he must have slept enough, because now Zoro finds it hard to stay asleep for long. He rolls over and blinks his eye open to find Luffy in his line of sight. For a moment, he just looks him over to be sure that he made it out of there all right, and then huffs a sigh]

What're you doing?

Oh, Zoro! You're awake! Yosh.

[awesome! He clears off the drawings and sets the sake barrel on the bed, narrowly missing Zoro's face.

For himself he situates himself cross-legged on the floor]

I was drawing you.

[if Zoro looked like a wiggly blob with mold on it]

[he rolls over just in time - geez, Luffy. Squints]

...that's supposed to be me? You suck at drawing, Luffy.

[but he's happy to see the effort, and the smile on his captain's face. All is well, then.]

You're hard to draw. Your face is really weird.

[tries again but gets distracted part way through and starts drawing crab legs]

Are you gonna come to Marco's mystery thing?

Marco's what?

[oh, right, Marco was there for a reason]

Nah. I'm gonna sleep.

[and not tell Luffy how much his shoulder aches]

Mm okay. [he's only a little disappointed but that's fine.] There's sake for when you wake up.

[he hums a little and gives the Zocrab a grumpy face]

We got a shard, but it doesn't look very interesting. Robin says it's gonna take deckhades to find all of them. [draw draw] How long is that?

[Oh, sake? He's awake! Really! He struggles to sit up, just a little bit.]

Decades. That's...tens of years. She really thinks it's going to take that long?

Hnnn that's a really long time. [sighs and plops beside Zoro on the bed, pushing him up with one hand around his back and popping the cork of the barrel for him]

I guess so. I wanna find 'em quicker than that. This is a pain.

For what it's worth, don't tell Rayleigh I've told you, but he used to get caught by cannibals all the time. Half of the scars on his arms started off as teeth marks from it, eh.

They haven't been back, have they?

[closes his eye again. Just resting]

He wouldn't. They'd give him indigestion.

[Laughs.] Does that actually stop him? I've seen Ace eat whole bones without thinking twice.

...dunno. I don't think I even know his tolerance for 'tastes nasty.'

It wasn't a good fight, though. He might not want to play with them a second time.
