Gun Frontier: May 26th
No Wearing Red After Breakfast.
Well, this crew is screwed already, and Grell is already causing a bar fight. Several people are being thrown out of windows, so watch for flying bodies!]
(ooc: make up your own laws for any day we're here!)
Gun Frontier: May 28th
Tequila ONLY After 8pm. No Other Beverages Allowed.
At least she was able to wear her red dress that day, the fitted mini red dress that left very little to the imagination. But that was part of her strategy for playing cards, and therefore perfectly acceptable.
Come join Faye playing cards, or else maybe take her for a drink when she has a break. But watch out for that Tequila Only law*
Re: Gun Frontier: May 28th
[so, he sat in the corner like a boring statue, watching her from under the hood of a cloak he'd had sitting around on the ship. He sort of wanted to try his hand at poker and socialize with Faye, but he'd figured he'd hang back until she'd had plenty of fun first before taking off the cloak and possibly starting something]
[of course, this was all assuming the men were polite to Faye. If any of them tried to get their hands of what they saw under that mini red dress, then there would be problems]

Finding him in the corner, Faye crossed the room over to his table, eyes and whispers following her on the way. Mostly, she ignored it - knew it was happening but walked straight by it - but some were given fleeting eye contact, good or bad depending. Finally though, she sat down on the chair along from Thash's, and put her purse down on the table with a small thud*
Well, that was productive.
no subject
You certainly know what you're doing, don't you? Heh, so w of those guys are pretty frustrated. Their fault for underestimating you....
[because he'd been sitting sort of behind her, he'd noticed a couple instances of her slight of hand 'helping' her win... But these guys seemed to be mostly egotistical ruffians so he figured it served them right]
Did you win enough for now or are you planning to beat them some more? [he asked with a smirk]
no subject
Mhmm. I know exactly what I'm doing. And you're right - most men will underestimate a woman, in the first place, but those guys were especially stupid.
*Faye glanced back round and noticed that some of the men from that table were still glaring at her, so she gave a small wave in their direction, then turned back to Thash*
Hmm, I don't know. You wanna join in a round?

[when Faye was ready, he'd head back to the game table with her and sit down. He'd keep most of the cloak on because he didn't feel like having people staring at his fins and tail, but he did lower the hood. He seemed a little tense and serious, glancing around at the other men to see how they'd react and if this was going to work. He hoped he was wrong about them, but then again...it'd been a while since he'd had a good fist fight so he wouldn't mind terribly if he was right.]
no subject
*Faye narrowed her eyes at the thought, annoyed too to hear Thash talk about himself as a something, and not a someone. At the table, next to Thash, she put a supportive hand or thigh. He could be tense enough sometimes around her, never mind these guys. Some of them grinned at him, there were whispers of 'fucking freak' but mostly he was accepted into the game. This island, Faye guessed, had seen its share of travellers. Still, she was alert juat in case*
You know, we could just skip all this foreplay and skip to the part where I win, all the good it will do you all.
*A small, rough and older-looking guy across from her laughed, "Maybe I like the foreplay." The men, and Faye laughed, and she winked at him as she started dealing out the cards*
Good. Then let's just hope you can make it interesting.
no subject
[he turned his focus to the game when Faye started to deal the cards expertly]
no subject
Okay. I'm going all in.
*Faye leaned across the table to push over her money with one hand, while the other hand was slipping beneath the table, across Thash's thigh to offer a spare card, one that she happens to know he'll need to win*
no subject
[he was surprised when he felt Faye's hand sliding across high thigh but luckily restrained himself from reacting to it much when he realized what she was doing. He didn't exactly like the idea of cheating but didn't have any particular reason to dislike it either, so he just went along with it. He took the card furtively and made it work with his hand, making sure no one was looking directly at him while he was doing it]
no subject
But that was when one of the men in the crowd piped up, "You ain't all in. What about putting that ass on the table too, hunny?" There was some whistling somewhere, and Faye spun round, her elbow connecting hard with the guy's crotch*
Fuck you, you low life scum!
no subject
C'mon baby, you can't seriosuly expect to come in here dressed like that and walk out without playing around! [his other hand snuck behind her, trying to grab a handful of whatever he could find under the bottom of her tiny red dress]
Oh really?! [Thash growled right next to the guy. He hadn't even turned to look at the shark hybrid before he felt a shark-skinned fist connecting with his nose from the side. He let go of Faye and stumbled a bit, his hands coming up to his nose]
Y-you broke my nose! You fish freak, you broke my freaking...
[he started fumbling to pull a gun out but didn't say much more before Thash grabbed the front of his shirt, turning and hurling the man over his back to slam him into a table (and making it look easy, even though the guy was taller and probably weighed more than him). The table broke under his weight with a loud crash, causing quite the commotion and knocking the guy out. Thash growled in anger, glaring around at the other men]
Anyone else want to try something dirty?!
[dang he sounded pissed. It was unclear if this would start a huge bar fight or if the crowd was stunned enough to let them leave without a fight]
no subject
In shock, Faye quickly stepped aside, her eyes widening in panic at the blood in the man's hands, cradling his nose. She glanced quickly then at Thash, not sure how he might react to the scent of the blood. She stood aside to watch as Thash threw the man onto the table. Her instinct now was to run, and get the hell out of there, but the moment Faye tried to reach for her purse, each of her arms was grabbed roughly by a pair of stupid, but strongly built men*
Yeah, we're gonna try that dirty on your girlfriend, see how you like that, you fucking pervert fish.
*It seemed they belonged to a small gang, another three of them coming at Thash from round behind them. Meanwhile, Faye was pulling and twisting her hardest to get away, stomping at the men's feet with her heels*
Let me go, you slimey bastards!
no subject
[Thash focused on the ones hiding Faye first, going for the one nearest him on her right side. His first goal was to get him to let go of Faye, so he grabbed the man's shoulders, piercing his claws as deeply as they would go into the muscles. Then he drove his knee into the base of the guys spine, which would at least cause a lot of pain if not paralyze him.]
[by then the other three guys would have reached Thash, and one of them managed to land a punch on the left side of his jaw. The shark hybrid was tough and took it without even letting his current victim go, but that caused him to pull the guy to the left and shove him into the guy that had punched him. The other two had move behind him and now had a second to try to attack him from that angle before he could react]
no subject
Faye wondered if they had the chance now to just get to the door and get the hell out, but then she saw the remaining two men heading for Thash. She headed straight for them, giving one a powerful punch to the side of his nose, then twisting her hips to give the other a hard kick to the crotch, her long thin heels greeting him first*
no subject
[he cursed at her, calling her several foul names as he wrapped his burly arms around her from behind very tightly. Thash was nearby and came to her aid immediately, although he was careful I how he attacked so as to avoid getting Faye hurt as well. He grabbed the guys ribs and dug his claws in, opening his mouth wide and chomping down on the muscle between his left shoulder and neck]
[he screamed as his blood splattered on Faye a little before he let her go, frantically grabbing at the creature biting him. Thash finally let go when he in turn was attacked from behind- by the guy that had punched him earlier. The guy had drawn a four-inch knife and pierced into Thash's side, effectively getting him to let go of the other burly fellow.]
[the big guy stumbled away to nurse the nasty, bloody bite Thash had given him, leave it Faye alone for now. Thash had give a brief shot of pain when he was stabbed, dropping his guard just long enough for the guy behind him to put him in a stranglehold]
[the guy glanced at Faye anxiously, knowing she'd try to help him] you try anything girlie, and I'll snap his neck! [he punctuated the threat by squeezing Thash harder, getting a choked growl out of the shark]
no subject
Her eyes widened again when she saw the guy squeezing at Thash's throat, and she looked around in confusion, not sure what to do, but refusing to look Thash in the eye, in case he saw how scared she was. Instead, she got closer to the guy what was strangling him, and hooked a leg up by his thigh*
You try anything, dickhead, and I'll stomp your tiny cock to shreds.
*Faye threw a glance to the guy she'd already kicked with her heel, who was whimpering desperately in a corner, trying to drag himself to safety*
no subject
[the guy holding Thash went a little pale at Faye's threat, seeing how much pain the last guy she'd kicked was in] w-well, you kick me and he's dead, so I suggest you back off! His voice wavered a little but his grip didn't, causing Thash to continue choking]
Hey hey hey, why don't we all just calm down a bit, huh? [a new voice joined the conversation, and a guy with a beard and a silver star on his chest stepped closer to them. He was holding a loaded revolver, but he wasn't pointing it at anyone in particular yet.]
Boy, y'need to let go of that there....uh...fellow...and lass, y'need ta step away from him. I'll talk to the three of ya outside, all calm like. Got it?
no subject
She was startled to hear another voice, considering mostly they'd been ignored by everyone else in the bar. Glancing at the guy's star, and really not in the mood to be arrested, Faye took a few steps back, holding her hands up, but her eyes stayed on Thash, watching to make sure that the other guy let go of him*
no subject
I said outside, pardner. Now move it. [the sheriff gestured to the exit and the guy walked that way. Once he'd caught his breath Thash stood up with a slight wince, one webbed hand moving to his side to pull out the knife and put pressure on the wound it had made. He headed that way as well, staying close to Faye as the stares of all the patrons followed them]
[once they were outside, the sheriff glared at them each in turn] now I don't wanna hear about who started what and who clobbered who. I want y'all at get away from this bar and don't come back. You're banned from it get a week, y'hear? If I see any of y'all back here before that, it's straight to the slammer for ya. Get yer booze elsewhere. Understand?
no subject
Faye said nothing until the sheriff was done, and she lowered her eyes, staring at the ground. When she did finally speak, her voice was little more than a hoarse mumble*
Okay. We're going. We won't be back. But - do you have something? For the wound?
*She moved slightly and looked at Thash's small stab wound, then back up at the sheriff with large, concerned eyes*
no subject
Too bad, [the gang member spoke up] because if they stay away, they won't make it to the poker tournament at the cow's eye bar tomorrow. [he smirked at Faye] even a cute whore and a cheating shark wouldn't be able to beat the poker champion at that event, heheh...
Stop stirrin' up trouble and get out of here ya twit. Go on, move along. [the sheriff shooed the guy away, then left himself. Thash sighed a bit] dang, I let my guard down. Maybe we should go lay low on the ship for the rest of the night if that's ok with you...
no subject
Thash didn't have to tell Faye about going back and lying low. She thrust the bandana at him, then began quickly walking away straight back to the safety of the ship. Clearly, she was plenty angry, and if they passed anything at all, a sign, or a plant, or anything small that moved across the road, she would kick it or punch it or something, storming away*
no subject
[once he caught up, he started speaking to her though he would probably shut up quickly if she made it clear she didn't want to talk]
You know, that bar we were just in... It was steer skull bar, not cow's eye. [meaning they hadn't been banned from the bar where this tournament was supposed to take place] also... Are you okay? [she seemed to be by how fast she was walking but he just wanted to make sure]
