[Roxas can be found sitting on the deck of the Moon, cleaning his keyblades like Aya taught him because people are a lot bloodier than Heartless.]

[It's warmer. There is sand and water. THIS IS A BEACH! Roxas can be found in a bathing suit, wading around near the shore.]

[Flomps on Roxas' head.]

[He is exhausted.]

[He hasn't slept once since landing here and he really should at least sleep a little or take naps or something.]

[But he doesn't want to miss it.]

[Also hi Roxas.]

[Roxas gives him a bright little grin, even if he can't see it.]

Hi Xifer! Did you come to swim with me?

[He reaches up to scratch at his feathers lightly.]

I don't have your sunflower seeds on me right now.

[But the scritches instantly calm Marco down and he quietly cranes his head over to get a good look at Roxas, look him right in the eye, and shakes his head to make sure Roxas knows that he neither came over to swim, or for food.]

[Then he relaxes back on Roxas' shoulders and gently steers him with a nudge as though to suggest the kid play along the shore.]

[To be fair, Roxas wasn't going to throw him in the water or anything. At the nudging he blinks a little and moves in the direction he's nudged.]

I haven't seen you in awhile. You like to hide, huh? I told Kairi about you but she didn't know you either. You should come over to our ship sometimes. It's a lot of fun, sometimes. Lea and I cook food together.

I tried what Ikki said, not getting mad at him, but he didn't like that. Lea's kind of weird, isn't he?

[Marco must really enjoy listening to Roxas babble. Really. He reaches the edge of the water, standing on the damp sand.]

[Marco adores listening to Roxas babble you have no idea.]

[He chirps softly, unable to completely shrug, but instantly relaxes, getting comfortable and listening.]

[Surprising no one, the mermaid is helping herself to a good swim, catching some good height each time she jumps out of the water. As she falls back in and resurfaces, Nami takes notice of Roxas and waves at him.]

[He smiles brightly and waves back.]

Hi! Do you like swimming in the water?

[She swims closer, smiling at him as she approaches.]

Yeah. Even when we're back on the ship, I'll leave for a bit so I can have a swim in the ocean.

It's pretty fun! This is my first time at a beach!

You've never been to a beach before? [How does that even happen?]

[It was nice to find a beach. It made Kairi think of home a little bit. So with her feet dipping into the water, she sat down, just letting the calmness take over. After all this was probably what she needed.]

[Roxas is just wading around knee deep in the cool fresh water.]

Are you going to come swimming with me Kairi?

[She shook her head slightly for a moment.]

Not right now. Maybe later.

Oh...

[He blinks a little bit and tilts his head at her.]

What are you doing then?

[She looks over slightly.]

For the moment just dipping my feet in. Feels nice.

[Roxas is so preoccupied with the fact that he's FINALLY made it to the beach that it's easy as pie to sneak up behind him and give him a little shove.]

[Roxas laughs a little, raises his arm and shoves Lea back properly.]

[Lea shoves back with a bit more force, trying to knock Roxas down into the water.]

So you got your beach. What do you think?

[He stumbles back a bit, hopping to keep his balance and he laughs lightly.]

It's pretty cool Lea, you were right! What should we do here?

[the Moon is good. Thatch prefers it to that...place. Still it's a nice day so he decides to bring his paperwork out onto the sunwashed deck when he spots Roxas cleaning diligently]

Ahoy there, ma petite Roxlet. How is it going?

It's good, I guess!

[Roxas smiles up at Thatch before looking back at Oblivion, diligently wiping it with his cloth.]

I have to clean up after the fight. People are kind of messy.

Aye they are... [sort of taken aback by that phrase but shakes it off. The island makes everyone a little off] Are you getting it or do you need a stronger solution?

[Hey, the Heartless don't dirty his blades much at all.]

Yeah, it's coming off okay. [Roxas turns it around to show Thatch the side he's working on, it's almost clean at least.]

I'm glad Aya showed me how to clean them.
