[Zoro did promise Luffy that he would take him swimming. Before they came to blows over the cats, after Luffy signed him up for that dumb contest, before they won a shard in said contest. So, Zoro is quite content fulfilling his promise. The water park isn't totally his style, but even he has to admit it's a lot more impressive than the little one on Gun Frontier.

By day he might be snoring away in a tube on the lazy river, if dragged to the park, otherwise he'll be enjoying the beach to the fullest. Meditating in the waves, splashing around with Luffy, or just lounging on the sand. It's a nice break from being a pirate.

By night he's usually close to the ship, but a bonfire on the beach wouldn't be out of the question. Or maybe he and the cook will sneak off to the bath house at Onsen Sanctuary. Zoro will still sit up on watch all night, so the others can enjoy themselves, but at least this time he's not sulking in a corner of the crow's nest the whole time. He'd like to have a vacation, too.]

[he has stuff he wants to do and slides he wants to go on but he hasn't felt like going on any of them actively yet so so far he's just been looking. He also wants to get in the mood for it first and the heat of the day is making him a little sleepy so he's thinking about what to do when he sees Zoro floating down the lazy river.

[completely oblivious, because even after all this time he still doesn't think it's smarter to keep a haki-sense out for Luffy even in the most laid-back of moments. Especially during laid-back moments. Has no idea it's coming until it's too late. His eye sleepily blinks open about one second before that shadow hovering over him lands. Hardly enough time to even go OH SHIT FUCK SHIT!

Those inner tubes are nice, though, they stay afloat even after someone has belly-flopped onto you. Of course, they made a big enough wave to knock several other people over, and are both now soaked, but eh. It's a water park, that's what it's for.

Zoro just groans. He should have known.]

[nope. Not quite satisfactory. Luffy shifts until he's sprawled out on Zoro's warm chest, chest to chest with his head bumping under the swordsman's jaw and his own hands dangling in the cool water. Mm perfect]

Na, Zoro... I've decided.

[Onsen Sanctuary, you say? Sanji's all for that.

Once they're back after their quick trip to pick up Robin-chan, Sanji's ready for that promised alone time. So he catches Zoro on the beach in the afternoon and ambles over to casually nudge at him with his foot.]

[snorts awake from his nap and squints up into the sun. Oh, hi cook]

Got your galley in order like you want it?

[or, you know, whatever he was doing elsewhere while Zoro made the decision to nap on the beach for a change of scenery]

Yep, everything's sorted. Shouldn't need to go shopping 'til whenever we're ready to leave.

[Which he assumes won't be for another several days, at least.

He looks down at Zoro for a moment, then tips his head in the direction of the mountain on the island.]

I heard they got some kinda shitty bath house up there.

[Early morning on Sanji's birthday, before the sun is even up, breakfast is on the table. Mostly it has fruits and stuff on it that Luffy had found around. Coconuts and bananas and sour little pears and melons he'd stolen from a garden and some berries that he didn't know the name of. But there were also cooked foods there. Mostly on a stick and only some of them chewed. Like lizards and birds and crabs.

Luffy scatters from ship to shore as he brings in all the bounty he can find and spends a lot of time waving up the fire over a large fish he caught. Feel free to help him if you wish or just watch him go about his task as seriously as if he were preparing for a fight]

[Sanji is awake at his usual time, stifling a yawn as he wanders into the galley and then scuffing a hand through his hair. He walks right past the table, only to abruptly pause a few feet after it and then backtrack to give it a confused look.

Huh.

He glances around the galley like he expects an explanation to be written on a wall somewhere, before quite abruptly remembering that today is his birthday.

...Oh yeah.

That prompts him to look over the table again, grinning a little this time. He can guess whose handiwork this is. B'awwww. He needs tea to go with all this, though -- so he snatches up a banana and heads over to the counter to make himself a cup.]

[Luffy is approaching. Though the first thing you might see of him is a gigantic cooked fish head as he tries to get it and the rest of the cooked fish through the door of the galley]

[Does, indeed, see that! And just kinda watches in quiet amusement until Luffy manages to squeeze the giant shitty thing through the door. He's leaning back against the counter, cup of tea beside him as he pops pieces of banana into his mouth.]

Yo, Luffy. Mornin'.

[You know, in case he didn't notice Sanji was there.]

[AFTER THEY'VE GONE TO RETRIEVE HIS LOVELY ROBIN-CHWAN~ AND RETURNED TO THE ISLAND.

Sanji's up for anything and everything! He's already promised to take Luffy down the slides, so he'll definitely be hanging around the water park. You can expect there to be a big bonfire & barbecue on the beach each night, too, after which he'll happily check out the nightlife in town.

If you need him for anything quieter and less adventure-y, he can OF COURSE be found in the galley, catching a moment of downtime as he goes over their food stores or the menu for the next few days.]

[comes rolling in the galley. And rolls around the galley. And rolls under the table and rolls on Sanji's feet and rolls to the wall. It's night time and the park is closed and he is bored]

[MEANWHILE, Sanji actually isn't bored necessarily, he's just sitting at the table with a journal (not the shitty magical one) in front of him where he's scrawling down various ideas for new recipes and such. There's a cigarette in his other hand that he takes an idle drag of as he glances up at Zoro. Then he leans back to look under the table at Luffy as he rolls over Sanji's feet.]

Don't know that I'd call it a party.

[Yet, anyway.]

You guys want something? Kitchen's closed if you're looking for snacks.

[Robin's rocking the bikini and floaties look for this island. She'll be more than happy to accompany others down the waterslides or drift along the lazy river in a tube. After spending who knows how long tripping across the universe on Scorpion's Reef, she feels no guilt in treating herself to multiple spa visits, either. It's refreshing, calming, and helps to clear her head.]

[One afternoon soon after they get back to the island finds Sanji popping out of the water near Robin's tube in the lazy river. He's all grins and excitement and relief that she's with them again, and he props his chin in his hands just on the side of her tube.]

Robin-chwaaaaan~ Are you feeling better??

[She smiles and lays her hand on the top of his soaked hair.]

Mm, much better, thanks to you. It's a good thing the venom wasn't deadly, but it's still not something I'd like to have to deal with again anytime soon. I hope I wasn't too- [High? Loopy? Insane?] -cryptic.

[Beams up at her with a dopey smile for a moment, though given the nature of the scorpion situation, he does manage to keep the theatrics to a minimum so he can focus on actually talking to her.

At which point his smile turns a little sheepish.]

Not gonna lie, I kinda wished I could have a second Robin-chan around to help translate. It was like you were talking in shitty riddles.

[And then his expression turns more serious.]

And even though the little bastards weren't poisonous, still wish Chopper or Bepo were here to look you over.

[watches her from the bank. He's already had kind of a wild day and is soaking wet but that's okay]

Robin... let me float with you.

[he can't really float by in his innertube cuz he can't move just bob along and anyway he wants to rest beside her so he holds out a hand so maybe she can take it and he can drag her closer to get on]

[She pulls his tube closer, not submerged enough herself to bring on the water-weakness.]

Looks like you've had a couple of good dunks already. Who fished you out, I wonder?

[Yay! Robin! He grins as he's pulled closer and then leans over and rests his head on her shoulder cuz it's nice]
